Are you passionate about dogs and looking for a leadership role? The Dog Stop® Cumming-Midway is seeking a motivated Dog Care Manager with previous experience in dog care and handling. In this position, you will oversee a dedicated team of canine companions while fostering a positive team environment.

Ideal candidates will have an outgoing personality, a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients, and a genuine love for dogs. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the comfort, safety, and happiness of our furry guests, as this is our top priority.

We are a fast-paced business. The candidate should be prepared to spend the entire shift on his/her feet. Multi-tasking, quick problem-solving, and maintaining organization skills in a busy environment is a requirement. If you're ready to take on this challenge, we’d love to hear from you!


Dog Care Team Lead duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring the safety, care, and comfort of our canine guests
  • Supervising and directing safe and positive play
  • Overseeing staff and canine interactions
  • Managing back of house operations
  • Safe, comfortable, and positive handling of dogs
  • Identifying dog play styles and behaviors and proactively responding
  • Ensuring all cleanliness, health, and safety protocols are strictly followed
  • Implementing and training on corporate policies
  • Help drive a positive team environment
  • Ensuring our dogs and customers receive an exceptional experience
  • All employees must adhere to all The Dog Stop Policies and Procedures

Necessary Qualifications:
  • Dog handling experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage a schedule and a team of handlers
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends & holidays
Pay ranges between $14-$17 per hour, depending on experience, with career growth opportunities. Hiring full time only for the Dog Care Manager role.
